Hameed, Inam off to Bangkok

KARACHI, Nov 7: Veterans Hameedul Haq and Inamul Haq leave for Bangkok on Nov 15 to compete in the Asian Seniors Tennis Championship group two which runs in the Thai capital from Nov 17 to 23.

Ranked 48th in the world, Hameed, will defend his titles in 40 plus and 45 plus. He is the reigning champion of 40-plus event since last four year while he captured the 45-plus title last year.

The two brothers’ next destination will be Pune where they features in ITF Seniors tennis championship group four from Dec 1 to 6.

From Pune they will travel to Delhi for a similar competition which takes place from Dec 8 to 13.

They will be joined by former Davis Cupper Nasir Munir on the Indian trip.
