Port Qasim

KARACHI, Nov 18: Three ships were allotted berths at the Qasim International Container Terminal and Multipurpose Terminal, respectively, during the last 24 hours to load and offload containers, cement and wheat.

In the meantime, another container ship also arrived at outer anchorage.

Six ships, CV Maersk Missouri, MV Musan, MV Gan Bake San, MY Darya Radhe, MT AI-Soar-II and MV Y M Cultivation, occupied berths to load and offload containers, cement, wheat, diesel oil and coal, respectively, during last 24 hours.

The port handled 54,908 tons of total cargo, including 40,035 tons of import cargo and 14,873 tons of export cargo and 1,986 containers (TEUs).

Three ships, Oil tanker MT AI-Soor-II, Bulk cargo carrier MV Gladiator and containers ship CV Maersk Missouri sailed out to sea during the last 24 hours.
