Swindled

LAHORE, Nov 22: Two female swindlers took away gold worth Rs550,000 from a jeweller’s shop in Soha Bazaar of Ranga Mahal on Saturday. Muhammad Shahbaz told the Rang Mahal police that two masked women had turned up at his shop and asked to show some jewellery. During the course of time, they concealed 350 grams of gold in their clothes and managed to escape.

THEFT: Thieves broke into the departmental store of Saeed Akbar in M-Block of Johar Town and made off with perfumes, cosmetics and other valuables worth Rs600,000. Some unidentified people sneaked into the house of Shaukat in Chuhng and took away Rs60,000 and a television set. — Staff Reporter
