National Rugby tourney under way

LAHORE, Nov 30: Nine matches were decided in the National Rugby championship at the Punjab Stadium on Sunday.

In the three-day event, second round matches and quarter-finals will be held on Monday, while the semi-final and final on Tuesday.

Islamabad bt University of Lahore 5-0; Balochistan bt NWFP 5-0; Punjab bt Sindh 32-0, Pakistan Steel Mills bt

Islamabad 46-0; Balochistan bt Azad Kashmir 34-0;

Fata bt Sindh 41-0; NWFP bt Azad Kashmir 33-0; The University of Lahore bt Steel Mills 17-15; Police bt Northern Areas 7-0.
