KARACHI, Dec 13: An alleged gangster of Lyari, Arshad Pappu, was acquitted on Saturday in a narcotics case due to a lack of evidence.

The VIth Additional District and Sessions Judge (west), Noman Memon, allowed an acquittal application under Section 265-K of the criminal procedure code moved by the counsel for the accused stating that the prosecution had neither provided any evidence against his client nor had it examined the witnesses despite a lapse of 11 years.
