KARACHI, Dec 19: President Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Qasim Zia has said that the PHF will obey the decision of the Government of Pakistan regarding the hockey team’s tour to India.

This was stated by the PHF chief as a reaction to Federal Sports Minister Pir Aftab Shah Jilani’s statement that after the cancellation of the Pakistan-India cricket series in Pakistan, PHF should also not visit India.

In a statement from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Qasim Zia said that Pakistan team’s tour to India now completely depends on the decision of the government. If the government allows us to visit India, then we will definitely go.
