KARACHI, Dec 21: The archives department of the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (Szabist) is organising the launching ceremony of Ms Benazir Bhutto’s book “Democracy the only way for Pakistan” at a local hotel on Monday.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah will be the chief guest at the ceremony where Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri, Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, Tourism Minister Sassui Palijo and Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro will speak.

Shrine development

Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the Urs celebration of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) on Sunday.

Talking to newsmen on the occasion, Mr Shah said that the government would pay full attention to the shrine development project and ensure its completion within the stipulated time. He noted that the project had been prepared under the instructions of Benazir Bhutto.—PPI
