KARACHI: Security measures

KARACHI, Dec 24: Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has directed the provincial police officer to implement the elaborate plan for security chalked out to ensure peace on the occasions of Christmas, Quaid-i-Azam birth anniversary and New Year.

The minister, while reviewing the security plan, said that all zonal DIGs would be responsible for security arrangements in their respective zones.

He called for beefed up security at and around the Quaid’s mausoleum, worships places, multinational companies, foreign banks, international food chains and foreign missions. Besides, he said, no parking near churches and other congregation venues should be allowed.—APP
