KARACHI, Dec 29: Three ships carrying containers and high-speed diesel are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing at the wharves was active where nine ships were berthed during the last couple of days: They are: Noble Coral, Dagmar, to unload and load general cargo, Flag Investors to load cement, Anikitos, Al-Marwah, and Chemway Lara, tankers, Abitin-1, Csav Laja, and Pace Antilia, with containers.
Sailing was also active as over a dozen ships departed, including Calvin P. Titus, Wan Hai-503, Despina, Noble Coral, Fatima-1, Y.M. Inventive, Green Valley and Jakarta Express departed on Monday.
They were followed by Seven Seas Aurira, H.H Tide, Johar, Hua Seng, Anikitos, while Al-Marwah, Aquastar, FAC Antkuam Csave Laja, Abtin-1, Dagmar, Chemway Lara, and Leader will sail out on Tuesday.
A total tonnage of 0.189 million tons comprising 47,528 tons of export cargo, including 4,887 tons of rice, 8,869 tons of cement, and 0.142 million tons of import tonnage was handled during the last 24 hours.
The ships due to sail on Tuesday are: Gulf Tiger, with high-speed diesel, Deja Bhum and APL Topaz, with containers.
