GUJAR KHAN, Jan 10: Four persons received burn injuries in two separate fire incidents.

Two minor gypsy children were burnt when fire broke out in their makshift huts in Dhoke Hayat Ali area in the suburbs of the Gujar Khan city on Saturday evening.

According to hospital sources the one-and-a-half-year old Shoaib and four-year-old Arooj were brought to the tehsil hospital with serious burn injuries. They were referred to the Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi.

In another incident two persons were injured when when fire engulfed their house located in Ward No. 14 of the city due to gas leakage on Saturday morning.

According to residents of the area, Mohammad Akram and his son Fazal Karim suffered injuries when two of the rooms of their house caught fire and collapsed.

The injured were taken to the THQ hospital. Fazal Karim, whose condition was critical, was shifted to Rawalpindi, while Akram was discharged after first aid.

According to the Jatli police, Abrar Hussain, 18, went out of his house on Friday night when an unidentified person called him on his mobile. He did not return. Some locals informed his father that the body of his son was in the jungle.—Correspondent
