QUETTA, Jan 17: Workers of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Jamiat Ulema Islam (Ideological Group) and Pakistan Muslim League-Q’s Youth Wing held separate demonstrations against Israeli attacks on Gaza on Saturday.

Addressing the protesters, leaders condemned Israeli aggression and urged the United Nations to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza.

Usman Kakar, Abdur Rauf, Abdur Rahim Ziaratwal, Nasrullah Zeray and Ahmed Jan of PkMAP, Hafiz Fazal Mohammad Barach, Maulana Abdul Qadir Luni and Syed Sattar Shah of JUI-Ideological and PML-Q Youth Wing’s chairman Naqibullah Tareen spoke at demonstrations.

The protesters set on fire Israeli flag and raised slogans against the United States and Israel.

The speakers criticised Muslim governments for their failure to support the Palestinian people and said that had the Ummah acted with unity and strongly the Jewish state would have never launched an attack on Gaza.
