KARACHI, Jan 20: Six ships carrying containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, Kota Hormat, Northern Harmony, Isara Bhum, Montania, to unload and load containers and Quetta to offload crude oil berthed.

The ships, which departed included Kota Hormat, Orinoco River, Csav Lauca, APL Pusan and Stadt Koin, while Quetta, Flag Investor, Hyundai Qingdao, Isara Bhum and Northern Harmony are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves showed a sharp expansion as the total cargo handled rose to 0.147m tons comprising 35,530 tons of export cargo and 0.111m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Baron, APL Yokohama, TS India, Bunga Teratai-4,Union Carrier, with containers and Genius Star-7, with general cargo.
