NAWABSHAH, Jan 20: Police on Tuesday arrested two and booked more than 40 activists of a religious organisation for disturbing peace and delivering provocative speeches against their rival sect.

DPO Rukhsar Ahmed Khuhawar told journalists the activists of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamat delivered provocative speeches against other sects under the cover of a demonstration held against Israel.

The A-Section police arrested Hafiz Hanif Usmani and Moulana Munir Haqqani and booked Hafiz Hanif Usmani, Moulana Munir Haqqani, Moulana Jafar Azad, Ibrahim Khalil, Anwar Qureshi and others under section 147, 295-A, 341 and 4F-EII Act 1997.
