UAE president arrives

LAHORE, Jan 21: United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nayhan arrived in Rahim Yar Khan on a private visit on Wednesday.

According to a handout, President Asif Ali Zardari, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other government officers received him at Chandna Airport.

They remained with the UAE president for some time and discussed with him matters of mutual interests.

Earlier, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and government officers received President Zardari when he reached Chandna Airport.

After welcoming the UAE president and a short meeting with him, President Zardari and Chief Minister Sharif left for Islamabad.
