According to a KU spokesman, the last date for submission of enrolment forms of first-year students will be March 14. However, with a late fee of Rs500 the forms may be submitted till March 31.

O-level classes

Meanwhile, the Sindh education department has not resolved the issue of academic session at schools offering O-levels.

Though the department’s steering committee has already decided that the next academic session for all schools across the province will commence on April 1, a number of private schools conducting O-level classes have reportedly asked the education department not to make the decision mandatory for them, according to sources.

The sources said that the private schools had asked the education department not to impose the steering committee’s decision because the schedule of ‘O’ Level exams did not match with that of the secondary board exams.
