Sri Lankan cricketers arrive today

KARACHI, Feb 14: Led by Mahela Jayawardene, a 15-member Sri Lanka cricket squad is due to arrive here on Sunday morning to play a two-Test series against Pakistan starting from Feb 21.

Jayawardene will speak to the media at a hotel here on Sunday at around 3:30pm.

The Sri Lankan team will have their first practice session at the National Stadium here on Monday from 10:00am to 12:00 noon.

The Sri Lankans will start the tour with a two-day warm-up game against the Patron’s XI side at the Defence Stadium from Tuesday (Feb 17).

The first Test of the series will be played at the National Stadium from Feb 21 to 25 while the second Test will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore from March 1 to 5.
