LAHORE, July 13 A 16-member Pakistan football team left for Bangkok on Monday to play a three-match series against teams of different age groups of the hosts.

The matches will be played from July 14 to 18.

Midfielder Muhammad Essa Khan, has been named captain of the team, while Chaman-born national defender Mehmood Khan his deputy.

The other 14 players in the squad are goalkeepers Jaffar Khan, Aamir Gul, defenders Muhammad Shahid, Haji Muhammad, Aurangzeb, Samar Ishaq, midfielders Nasrullah Khan, Atiq Ullah, Nomi Martin strikers Safiullah Khan, Mudassar Saeed, Jadid Khan Pathan, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Arif Mehmood.

The four officials of the squad are George Kottan (Coach), Shahzad Anwar (Assistant coach), Muhammad Aslam Khan (GK coach), Kamran Mehdi (Physiotherapist).
