Inter-zonal games

TIMERGARA, Nov 2: The inter-zonal games competitions among government and private middle schools in Lower Dir started at Sehsada on Tuesday, sources in education department told Dawn.

The sources said the elementary and secondary education department had been supervising these competitions. The games include cricket, hockey, basketball, volley ball, badminton, race, debates and speeches. These games would continue till Nov 10. Earlier games' competitions were held at zonal levels which were held from Oct 22 to Oct 29 on grounds of different schools in the district.

The winning teams in the zones are playing in the ongoing inter-zonal competitions. — Correspondent

The sources said government middle school Baroon Timergara defeated cricket team of the government middle school Soghalay Talash zone while government middle school Utala Dushkhel lost its badminton match to Sihsada zone.
