For cat and dog lovers in Karachi, the cat and all-breed championship dog show, part of the DAWN Lifestyles Exhibition, was the place to be. Held on two separate days, November 8 and 9 respectively, the show included a variety of breeds brought in by pet owners such as Dalmatians, Labradors and Dobermans, to Persians and Siamese cats. The show was well-attended by pet enthusiasts, and eager children. – Photos by Tahir Jamal/White Star

Twice a time my comments has been deleted from the face book, which shows that no one can face the bitter truth & then on other hand we are looking for the Democracy? Peoples are Suffered & Dyeing every day & the entire nation looking for Plead from the western world including USA & other hand some one is promoting Animals? This is true that only Animals will left in this country. I really dont beleive this is the same Dawn who participate in Pakistan Revoulation & Father of Nation was the founder of this News papers….Really it is a sad moment of Journalism.

Real pet enthusiasts should first turn to the many stray and homeless animals to be found on the streets of Karachi. Its quite pathetic that Pakistanis who call themselves "animal lovers" seem completely apathetic to the many animals in need.
