LAHORE, Nov 13: There is a decreasing trend in dengue virus and 4,122 patients have recovered so far whereas 128 others are under treatment in various hospitals in Punjab.

According to a spokesman for the Punjab Health Department (Communicable Diseases Cell), some 169 dengue patients have been reported in Lahore and 43 in other districts during the last 24 hours.

He claimed there was no shortage of platelet kits in government hospitals. Besides free diagnostic and treatment facilities, platelet kits were also being provided to under-treatment dengue patients.
