ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday claimed that the Pakistan Development Forum was a successful conference.

Gilani assured the president that the reformed GST bill will be passed in the parliament this month. During a meeting at the President House, Gilani informed the president that Pakistan's economic strategy was presented at the Development Forum and that the economic reforms process will continue in the country.

National security and the political situation were also discussed during the meeting.

The President's recent visit to Guangzhou, China, his interaction with the leadership and Chinese corporate leaders also came under discussion.
