KINGSTOWN (St Vincent's), Nov 29: Pakistan 'A's batsmen stonewalled throughout the fourth day to ensure that the second and final unofficial Test against West Indies 'A' ended in a draw at the Arnos Vale Ground here on Saturday.

Starting the final morning only 26 runs ahead with seven wickets remaining, the overnight pair of Khurram Manzoor and captain Faisal Iqbal set the tone for the day, taking 74 balls to make 20 runs.

Fast bowler Shannon Gabriel had Faisal caught behind by Denesh Ramdin for 48, but Khurram — who had made a century in the first innings as well in the first Test — carried on for more than half the day. He was ultimately dismissed by leg-spinner Odean Brown for a marathon 85 off 295 deliveries.

When wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed became the seventh man to be dismissed, Pakistan were only 87 runs in front.

But the two Yasirs, Arafat and Shah, ensured there would be no further stutters for Pakistan 'A', as they batted out almost 22 overs in their unbeaten 59-run eighth-wicket partnership before the game was called off.

Brown finished with 4 for 100.

The first unofficial Test, which was marred by rain, was also drawn at the same venue.

KARACHI, Nov 29: A two-member Pakistan scrabble team left for Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on Monday evening to take part in the Causeway Scrabble Challenge to take place there from Dec 1 to 5.

The players, current Pakistan No 1 Waseem Khatri and No 2 Mohammad Inayatullah, will be competing in the Masters division.

The annual event has total prize money of US$75,800 and is being played in the Premier, Masters and Open divisions.
