KARACHI, Nov 30: The Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum and the Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research have jointly organised a reception for the fishermen recently released by India.

The reception will be held at the Karachi Press Club at 2pm on Wednesday, according to a press release issued by the organisers on Tuesday.

Close relatives of the freed fishermen, human rights and civil society activists who had been playing an active role in campaigns against seizure of fishermen and their boats in the open sea, as well as members of the host forums had been invited to attend the reception, the release added.— Staff Reporter
