MIRAMSHAH: Five soldiers were wounded when a military convoy was attacked with remote controlled explosive device in the Spinwam tehsil of the North Waziristan Agency on Thursday, officials said. Eyewitness said that three soldiers were also killed in the roadside blast. However, officials did not confirm loss of lives in the incident.

The convoy was going from Mirali to Thall garrison when it was attacked at Toda Chena.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the attack and launched search operation. Authorities also imposed curfew on Thall-Mirali road.
