The creative activists

Activists in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, held a fire show to support the organizers of a fire performance at Lame Horse nightclub in the city of Perm on December 5, 2009, who were accused of setting the club on fire which resulted in 156 victims, local media reported. Activists in Cancun, Mexico, peacefully protested against the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. A deadlock on whether or not to preserve Kyoto after 2012 has hobbled the two-week meeting in Mexico, and countries will have to agree to defer the issue if they are to unlock other deals on climate aid and protection of rainforests.
