LAHORE, Jan 3: Wicket-keeper-batsman Kamran Akmal is likely to get clearance from the PCB integrity committee on Tuesday to be part of the six One-day International series against New Zealand and the list of probables for the World Cup.

Kamran, Shoaib Malik and Danish Kaneria's cases are pending with the PCB integrity committee, which has the authority to clear them for selection in the team.

All the three have not being selected since the last tour of England under mysterious circumstances.

The PCB selection committee is going to meet here on Tuesday under Mohsin Khan and it is likely that it will receive final verdict of the PCB's integrity committee regarding the three players.

Soon after that, the selectors will announce the much-awaited list of the probables for the World Cup and the one-day squad against New Zealand. Dawn

Sources told that though both Kamran and Shoaib's cases were fishy, Kamran could be given the benefit of the doubt while Shoaib would not.

The sources added that Kamran had declared his four different properties in Lahore for which he had given different reasons that all were built with his genuine income.

The sources further said Kamran had also received some positive indications from different members of the integrity committee about his clearance as he was seen practising at the National Cricket Academy here on Monday.
