ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Tenpin Bowling Team (PTBF) returned from Abu Dhabi after securing 16th position in the 21st Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship which was held from January 14-24 at the Khalifa Bowling Club.

The participant nations included China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Iran, Malaysia, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, India and Indonesia.

“Emirates bowling federation warmly welcomed us and the President, PTBF, Muhammad Shuja Khan was invited as chief guest on the prize distribution ceremony of the event to honor and give gold medal to winners,” said Secretary, PTBF, Ijaz ur Rehman.

He further expressed that amongst five countries which had applied for affiliation with Asian Bowling Federation, World Tenpin Bowling Federation and FIQ only Pakistan’s Tenpin Bowling Federation has been granted permanently affiliation with the said Federations.
