DERA MURAD JAMALI: Unidentified men had blew up a natural gas pipeline in Piro Bridge area near Dera Murad Jamali at night between Sunday and Monday.

According to Levies sources, unknown accused attached an explosive material with the 8-inch diameters natural gas pipeline linking with Och Power Plant and detonated it with remote control.

The Levies Force personnel reached the place and put a cordon around the affected site. They also had commenced search operation to arrest the accused.

Engineers and technical staff had been continuing repairing work of the damaged pipeline.

When contacted, spokesman for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Anaytullah Ismail told APP that Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) had been supplying natural gas to Och power plant through this pipeline.
