KARACHI: The government on Thursday hinted at reducing petroleum prices, which were increased on March 1, after facing criticism in the National Assembly and protests on the streets, reported DawnNews.
Sources claim the government could reduce the hiked prices as President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh and Interior Minister Rehman Malik in Karachi.
The increased prices could be reduced up to 50 per cent, claimed sources.
