Two Nato tankers torched

QUETTA, March 12: Two tankers carrying fuel for Nato forces in Afghanistan were set on fire near Mach area of Bolan district on Saturday, sources said.

The Kandahar-bound oil tankers coming from Karachi were fired upon near Mach. When the tankers stopped the attackers set them on fire.

The sources said that both tankers were gutted. Because of the blaze, traffic on the Quetta-Sibi National Highway was disrupted for some time.

The attackers escaped on three motorbikes.

No casualty was reported .
