Consultative process could be initiated only after detailed order of the apex court is issued: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.—File photo

ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, on Monday again rejected the proposal to reappoint Justice (retd) Deedar Hussain Shah as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman.

Nisar, in a reply to President Asif Ali Zardari’s letter, considered it ‘strange’ that without waiting for the detailed order of the court, the president had again proposed the appointment of Justice Shah as chairman NAB.

The leader of the opposition in his letter was of the view that the consultative process could be initiated only after detailed order of the apex court is issued.
