ISLAMABAD, March 30: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir will travel to Brazil next week to attend the largest defence exhibition of Latin America, entitled the LAAD2011.

The invitation to attend the defence exhibition to be held in Rio de Janeiro from April 12 has been extended by the Brazilian Navy, sources in the defence ministry told Dawn.

As per the schedule, Admiral Noman Bashir along with Chief of the Brazilian Navy will also tour Sao Paulo, the economic heart of Brazil and the city of Manaus, in the Amazon Forest region.

Though Pakistan and Brazil have had friendly relations but the bilateral relations in trade, commerce and defence exchanges have been limited.
