PESHAWAR: Eleven soldiers were injured when a convoy of security forces was attacked with a remote-controlled device in the Khyber Agency on Saturday, DawnNews reported.

Official sources said that militants detonated the bomb with a remote control when security forces were conducting a search operation in the area of Akakhel. One vehicle was destroyed in the attack.

All the injured soldiers were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Peshawar, said sources.
