PESHAWAR: Pakistani security forces killed seven militants in Swat’s Matta area, while one military official died in a clash with militants in Mohmand agency on Sunday, DawnNews reported.

According to sources, militants were trying to force their way into the Swat’s Matta area, when Pakistani security forces opened fire in retaliation, killed seven extremists.

Meanwhile 30 suspected militants were arrested and five land mines were also inactivated by the security forces in Saafi area of Mohmand agency.
