ISLAMABAD: The ninth Chief of Army Staff (COAS) International Squash Championship will get underway at Mushaf Sports Complex on Tuesday.

A two-day qualification round will precede the main round, organisers said in a press briefing on Monday.

Several Iranian players also expected to participate in the championship along with local players from across the country.

Top Pakistan player Aamir Atlas Khan will miss the championship as he is currently serving a six-month ban, which was imposed on him by the Pakistan Squash Federation for indiscipline.

The tournament will also feature female squash players.
