QUETTA, April 18: Two labourers were killed and four others injured when gunmen attacked the camp of a road construction company in Lalibar area of Barkhan district on Monday.

Levies Force sources said the labourers were sleeping in the camp when the assailants attacked them.

The area was cordoned off by law-enforcement agencies after the attack and the victims were taken to hospital. Later, the injured were shifted to Multan. The sources said that some suspects had been picked up for interrogation.

TANKER ATTACKED: A tanker carrying fuel for Nato forces in Afghanistan was torched near Dhadar in Bolan district on Monday.

Official sources said the driver was injured when unidentified men opened fire on the Chaman-bound tanker coming from Karachi. The attackers set the tanker on fire and escaped.The injured driver was taken to the Bolan district hospital in Dhadar.
