KARACHI: The National Women Club Championship saw a plethora of goals as Diya FC and Karachi Kickers won their respective matches 12-0 and 11-0 in Karachi.

Diya FC beat TCS with four goals from Afshan Altaf and three goals from Hajra Khan; while Ruksar Rashid, Erum Kazimi, Marium Leghari and Zamina Aslam also scored.

Karachi Kickers’s Zulifa starred in the win against Marta Club with five goals to her name while Rehmana Shah scored four. Sundus Shah, Razia Khan and Iqra Hussain also contributed to their team’s scoreline.

In Wednesday’s match, National Champions Young Rising Star opened their onslaught in an explosive fashion when they edged out Sargodha University 9-0 at Islamabad's Jinnah stadium.

The Group C tie saw YRS led 3-0 at half-time and scored six more in the second half.

Mifielder Malaika Noor struck four goals in her team's emphatic 9-0 win. Skipper Sana Mehmood, Adeea, Sher Zaman, Asmara Habib, Zara Irfan also slotted a goal apiece.
