KARACHI, April 21: Soneri Bank’s board of directors met in Lahore to review accounts for the period of January-March 2011.

The bank reported a pre-tax profit of Rs435.084 million, up from Rs33.170 million generated for the same period last year.

After tax profit also rose to 303.387 million from Rs40.380 million in previous corresponding quarter of 2010.

This translated into earning per share of Re0.50 for the quarter, says a press release.
