KARACHI: Oil Tankers Association announced a strike for indefinite period on Wednesday after which numerous petrol stations were shut as people faced shortage, DawnNews reported.

People were seen hopeless, in search of fuel, in areas including Saddar, Gulshan, Orangi, Kemari and Jamshed Town.

Locals complained that despite oil prices had touched the sky, there was no oil available.

Meanwhile, the petrol pump management complained that the shortage was caused due to non supply of oil.
