Nowadays ace singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is touring America with his troupe. Last Sunday he was in Chicago for a gig where his car met with an accident. Though thankfully the singer remained unscathed, his manager Chitresh Srivastav (brother of noted Indian music composer Aadesh Srivastav) received serious injuries and died. It’s a sad loss not only for Chitresh’s family but also for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, because it’s believed that the late Chitresh Srivastav had been instrumental in managing the singer’s professional matters with great success. Our condolences go out to his family.
