ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, after the unanimous approval of the PSDP on Saturday, congratulated all the chief ministers and other participants of the National Economic Council on achieving the milestone, it was learnt from the participants of NEC.

The prime minister said the NEC for the first time after the historic 7th NFC Award, approved allocation and distribution of national resources under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) among the federal and provincial governments.

All the four provinces, AJK government as well as Gilgit-Baltistan government, agreed to the allocations made by NEC after the 7th NFC Award as well the 18th Amendment.

The unanimous acceptance of allocation of funds under the PSDP, reflects the strength of the Federation has been termed as a milestone in the political and economic history of the country.
