Levying new taxes is a good and long overdue initiative but its success depends on the the administration's abilities to actually collect them. Let's hope this measure doesn't end up in adding money to the tax inspector's pocketsin stead.

The provincial government must do its work instead occasional empty declarations, to improve the transport system including the metro in its capital city – Lahore, and open up the congested old parts of the city. Moreover, the Sharif brothers have to fix their domicile in Lahore rather than having it shamelessly in London as old time feudal lords.
