Men and Women are not similar but equal. Its not that hard to understand. But this has nothing to do with Islam or for that matter any other religion. These so called Gods, the people who operate these Jirga Systems should come under a proper law or at least the Government should set some standards for them, if they can not dissolve it completely.
The law of a state is a major index to know whether the country is developed or underdeveloped. Nuclear weapons or the export of mangoes is secondary.

With due respect to all religious people, why do we need religion to tell us how to express our basic humanity? Why do we need someone who lives thousands of years ago to tell us how to be decent today? I see so many arguments about how religion does not condone such barbaric behavior, but in doing so we are all saying that religion is good because it matches up to our innate notions of compassion. Using religion to justify that we should be good plays into the hands of extremists who claim to have a direct hotline to God and use religion to justify torture and killings. Instead we can just use the golden rule – do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It appeals to our basic humanity that we share with with every other human being on the planet, and it does not divide us like religion does. Some of the most compassionate societies are ones where people are the least religious such as Scandinavians. Let us find common ground in our humanity and find peace in the region. Religion can be a private matter between us and God.
