CHAKWAL, July 8: An elderly person was killed on Thursday night when his motorcycle was hit by a speedy truck near Bhoun village.

According to police sources, Ghulam Haider, 65, a resident of Moreed village was coming to his village from Bhoun on motorbike. On his way, his bike was hit by truck coming from the opposite direction. Ghulam Haider died on the spot. Saddar police registered a case against the truck driver. — Correspondent
