KARACHI, July 10: Country’s top players including Davis Cupper Aqeel Khan are set to feature in the Sindh Open ranking tennis championship which gets into action at the Modern Club courts from Monday with qualifying rounds on card.

The competition, which is Super Series event of Sindh Tennis Association (STA), carries a total prize money of Rs75,000 and sponsored by a fast food chain.

Seven players from Hyderabad and two from Mirpurkhas were among a large number of players who have confirmed their entries.

Meanwhile, according to draws, Pakistan No 1 Aqeel Khan heads the men’s singles seeding. He is followed by Jalil Khan. The main round matches begin from Wednesday.
