KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, chaired a high level meeting at the CM House on Friday. An official statement said that the meeting reviewed the law and order situation in the province especially in Karachi.

It said that a number of measures were also considered in this connection. The participants of the meeting mulled over the replacement of the Police Order 2002 by the old police system.

They also considered the recommendations and suggestions in this regard. It was decided that in this respect, the CM would chair another meeting on Saturday to take final decisions.

The Sindh Home Minister and officials of concerned departments would also hold a meeting to finalize the recommendations, it was further pointed out.

Today's meeting was attended by Home minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Sindh Chief secretary, Raja Muhammad Abbas, IGP Sindh, Wajid Ali Durrani, Additional Chief secretary (Home), Waseem Ahmed, and other officials.
