LAHORE, July 18: Nisar Ahmed of Wapda won the first Quetta-to-Ziarat National Cycle race on Monday.

Nisar covered the 122-kilometre distance in three hours, nineteen minutes and 50 seconds. With a difference of 10 seconds, Habibullah of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) came second, followed by another cyclist of Wapda Mohammad Ibrahim, who crossed the finish-line in three hours, 22 minutes and 18 seconds.

Results: 1. Nisar Ahmed (Wapda) 3 hours, 19 minutes, 50 seconds; 2. Habibullah (SSGC) 3:20:00; 3. Mohammad Ibrahim (Wapda) 3:22:18; 4. Toor Jan(Balochistan) 3:23:18; 5. Abdullah (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) 3:33:18; 5. Sabir (Wapda) 3:38:18.
