RAWALPINDI, July 26: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is expected to visit Rawalpindi on Wednesday (Today) to inaugurate Model Bazaar near Liaquat Bagh.

The City District Government Rawalpindi (CDGR) made all the arrangements to welcome the chief minister. The senior officials told Dawn that in his brief stay, the chief minister would inaugurate the model bazaar however he had no plan to lay the foundation stone of the Institute of Urology at Shamsabad on Benazir Bhutto Road as Rs2 billion project had been in the doldrums for a long time. CDGR Solid Waste Department launched a massive drive to clean the route of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) also repaired and painted the broken iron grills and median strips at Benazir Bhutto Road from Rawal Road to Liaquat Bagh and from Kutchary Chowk to Liaquat Bagh.— A Reporter
