AKG triumph

KARACHI, Aug 14: Aga Khan Gymkhana (AKG) defeated defending champions Medicam CC by six wickets to record their second victory in Group ‘B’ of the 24th Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan T20 cricket tournament at the AKG Ground here on Sunday.

Medicam CC scored 144-6 with Khalid Latif (45) and Waqas Ahmed (41) the main run-getters.

AKG romped in 19 overs with Salim A. Rahim (54), Mir Afzal Baig (47 off 23 balls, three sixes and five fours) and Suleman Huda (41 not out) playing key innings.
