MIRAMSHAH, Aug 22: Seven people were killed and three others injured when a US drone targeted a house and a vehicle near Mirali in North Waziristan on Monday.
Three militants and four tribesmen from the same family died in the attack in Mirkhunkhel area.
Official sources said that two missiles hit the vehicle and the house, owned by a tribesman Gul Sawab.
The names of the deceased could not be ascertained. AFP earlier quoted an unnamed security official as saying the unmanned aircraft fired two missiles at the vehicle and killed at least three militants in the strike”.—Pazir Gul
